I always had Lola my dwarf hamster in a 10 gallon tank and I just recently moved her into a "CritterTrail" cage and she enjoys it but she chews the bars relentlessly at night. I'm not sure why she only does it ant night, I guess it's because she's awake more, but why does she chew the bars so much? Is this bad for her teeth?

Hamsters are nocturnal, so she will be up at night. Try to put some things in her cage that she can play with. I cut toilet paper holder lengthwise and stuff them with hay for my guinea pigs. I cut them so they don't their head stuck in them. Some of my guinea pigs bite their bars to get my attention. Mine have never hurt their teeth, but I've heard that they can crack them.

My hamster used to bite the bars as well. I'm pretty sure there just grinding there teeth down because my hamster never chewed on any of the wooden toys I gave her. But if yours does then I am not sure why she is chewing, but I wouldn't worry about it.
