Have you ever had food thrown over the fence to your dog? Has it been people who aren't all there in the head? I want to know what I can do if the manager and the owner of the building know there is food being tossed over the fence in to your yard that could be harmful to your pets and they aren't doing anything about it what can you do? Because there are people like that throwing food over the fence into my yard to Abby they did the same thing when we had Skitters and even back when we had Lady I believe it has been brought up with the building manager and the owner of the apartments before and they are not doing anything to stop it but I want it to stop I don't want Abby to get sick or anything so who else can I go to with this to get it to stop?

My neighbors had someone throw food over their fence but no one saw them do it. I always check our yard and fence (to make sure someone didn't back into it and leave an opening or something) before letting the dogs outside. I don't think there's much that can be done. If the food proves to be poisoned and you catch the people in the act or catch them on video, charges could be brought against them but the building manager and the owner aren't libel for what someone outside of their property does. I guess they could potentially go for an illegal dumping charge but they would have to catch them in the act. The most they could do until then is post signs outside of the fence that say something about no dumping of any kind allowed, but I don't think they legally have to do anything if they don't want.
