Q: Food for a diabetic cat

I have a diabetic cat who is doing well on PZT insulin & Purina DM cat food. But I know he is getting pretty bored with the same flavor dry & meat all the time. Does anyone know of any other brand food out there for my cat? He wants what the other cats are getting: whitefish, tuna, mixed grill, etc.

Have you checked out the website called YourDiabeticCat.com? It is maintained by a vet that has done a lot of research on feline diabetes.

My sister has a diabetic cat. She feeds him w/d. I think it is from science diet but I'm not sure. She says it comes in original and chicken flavors. You could give it a try but you have to ask your vet first.
