Q: Eye boogers - from pollen?

My puppy and one of my kittens gets really bad eye boogers. The kitten doesn't go outside but sits in the window and the puppy goes on walks all over the woods. I was wondering if this is because of pollen? Is there anyway I can make them not as bad?

My vet gave me some cream for my dog's eyes. I would wipe their eyes daily and put the cream in it! It helps a lot. I only have two of my 4 dogs that are bothered by it. Lacy and Samson! Hope your pets get better soon. You have to do something or they could develop severe conjunctivitis.

Beautiful flowers = Big Eye Boogers
Most likely an irritant from the season change in season, Sharas’ subside when summer actually hits, but during the main growth spurt in spring....Warm water on a soft cloth, I make it like a "bonding time", lot's of low sweet talking, don't know for sure if she's buying it or she just thinks I'm totally crazy, but she not only let's me get them out of her eyes, she actually seems to enjoy the time together.
OK, after I'm done, she immediately jumps down does a shake, shake , shake like I’ve just totally drenched the I give her a Pupperoni Lean and all is forgiven :)

My dogs, especially Brandy, get eye boogers big time. I'm pretty sure they're from allergies. I always wipe them gently from their faces with tissue.

The best and easiest solution is over the counter 100% natural eye drops. Trust me I have a dog with horrible allergies, we say "allergic to everything", and eye drops once (or twice in high allergy season) takes care of his disgusting eye goop.

it could be allergies but you could wipe there eyes out everyday with warm wet towels that will help keep the irritation down. eyes watering are natures way of cleansing the eyes. so by wiping them daily youll be doing your part
