Can we get epilepsy meds from the vet here in the USA? I brought a rescue dog with me from Costa Rica and the people gave me a generic brand of epilepsy pills they got from the doctor.

Sure...the main drugs used are Phenobarbital or Potassium Bromide, but there are several other anti-seizure medications that are used too. Once your vet examines the dog they'll decide which medication is best suited to the type of epilepsy the dog has.
