Q: Doggie Ice Cream?

Ches21

I have heard and seen this in stores that dog ice cream is all over the place here in my home town and I was wondering if dogs like it and if it is an okay treat for them ocatsionally I think I spelled that wrong. I was thinking about getting some for Skitters so does anyone know?

Kali didn't care for it, but Brandy loved it! I think it depends on the dog...

roo and tosca weren't that crazy about it. roo kind of enjoyed it, but only after it melted. it tastes like pricey heavy whipping cream, so i also wasn't thrilled they weren't digging it.
if skitters is use to getting tasty treats {or real ice cream, as my dogs are/were}, he probably won't be very interested. roo and tosca always got real chicken {and have a grandma who loves to spoil their appetites}, but dogs i pet-sit for who only get a treat here and there love it.

Frosty Paws has been around for years. I used to give it to my dog back in the late 70's early 80's. He loved it. Several years went by when I couldn't find it anymore but I see it at more and more groceries now. I haven't bought it for a few years. My cats even liked it.
