I would worry more about the height than width. Great Danes are usually pretty thin, but the are very tall. You could probably find the breed standard dimensions online somwhere. Google it...

Hi I sell dogs doors on my website dixiepets.com. The ones that i sell that are for Danes are "Classic" dog door & "Freedom" dog door. They are for pets up to 220lbs.

Great Danes Height is 30-32 in (76-81cm). Weight is 100-120 lb (45-55kg). Going by experience Great Danes are taller than they are wide but you have to consider their deep strong chest. So taking their chest size & height into consideration you should be able to find a dog door that will work for you. Doors that state they will work with a Rottie or similar breed should work. Dogs differ in size when compared to a breed as a whole. Good luck.
