You have to get a handle on that right away!!!! It will get worse, he will start claiming everything as his own. My girl July pulls that crap every once in a while. I start by standing over her and moving her away from the bowl with my legs so I don't get bit. And then we go back to square one of training. She sits obediently until I give her permission to eat and then I practice taking her food away and giving it back. I think I heard somewhere this is the number one reason children get bitten.
