Dog breath

my dog has terrible breath, I brush his teeth and he has a lot of hard bones to chew on and he mostly eats Iams pet food. What am I doing wrong?

I have the same problem with one of my dogs! He's going in for a teeth cleaning tomorrow. They say that bad breath is a sign of bad teeth. They also say that bad teeth can cause heart disease. I don't know who "they" are but I would bring your pup in for a cleaning. Good luck!!

Have your vet look at his teeth. It might be time for a good cleaning. He might have a tooth that needs pulled or some other problem. I wouldn't let it go on without having a vet look at it.

Have you had your vet look at his teeth, he may need them cleaned, also make sure you are brushing his tongue
