before we left for Germany the vet suggested this stuff to calm our dogs down for the flight, in hotel rooms, car, etc. I dont know if it really worked or not.
Has anyone else used it?

When we flew Aries from Germany to Hawaii we just made sure he was familiar with his Kennel, had some Chew toys and lots of padding. I was told to give him Benadryl but i chose not to. When we picked him up from the Airport he was really thirsty and had to use the bathroom. He was in good health and happy to see us.

It is not a cure all but it certainly helps. I use the collar on my dog and she is less anxious and seems to sleep better.
At first I did not thik it worked until I stopped using it one month and she drove me crazy. I ordered them again with a rush delivery!

We used the cat version in our shelter with some cats and it really worked. I thought it was just a gimmick when I first saw it but it really calmed the cats down that where a little skiddish. I am thinking about getting the dog one for my dog Dru to use during thunderstorms.

I have used dog appeasing pharmones with a happy go lucky laid back dog and it worked but with my high energy level dog it did nothing. I guess it depends on your dog. But I did find essential oils to work better for both dogs. I used a blend of grape seed oil and lavender, camameil or ylang ylang and put it on her ears or used it in a defusser.

Yes, I have recommended it to many of my clients. Some have seen signs of improvement, while others have seen no signs. Can't hurt to give it a try.

I don't if this will help you out any or not- I used homeopathic drops that I got from my vet for when I moved. The situation is different though because I drove 5 1/2 hrs (not flew) and my pet is a cat (20#'s so...kinda like a small dog). With the recommended dose for my cats weight, my cat slept for the first 2 hrs. and was groggy but awake for another 1/2 hr. So 2 1/2 hrs into the trip I had to give him another dose.
I'm not sure if Pheromone works the same way? You'll have to take into account the length of the trip and size of the dog. If you have a small dog that will be allowed in the cabin it'd be easier to re-dose if needed.
