You need to check the found pet ads in your area as well as check at the local shelter & local rescue groups. Leave a picture of your dog with the shelter and keep checking back with them daily so he doesn't fall thru the cracks. Hopefully he's microchipped. If he is, notify your chip compnay that he's lost. Most will help you make fliers and send out alerts. Post fliers in an extended area where he was lost, check online lost and found sites like FidoFinder, Lost and Pound, etc. Sad to say, but you'll better chance of getting your dog back if you offer a reward. People on this site are from all over the country, not just your area, so posting here isn't going to get your dog back. Like I live in VT so I'm not going to see your dog unless you lost it in Windsor. Good luck.

Here are a couple of links to suggestions on what to do when you've lost a dog. Read and follow their instructions as well as what NGM has suggested. Also check Craigslist pet sections.
