Q: Does your municipality limit the # of animals per household?
If so, what is that #?

In our city you can not keep, at one location in the city, more than a total of four (4) dogs or cats over the age of six months. Otherwise you must qualify for a kennel license. We're in Columbia, Missouri, home of the Central Missouri Humane Society, one of the top 10 finalists in the makeover contest. We'd appreciate your votes!!!

We can have 5 animals total, including small pets like rabbits. However, most of our neighbors go over that limit, and I have no idea how anyone would know unless someone files a complaint.

I have no limit as I am a mile from the city limits, but inside the city you can have 3 animals, but they can not all be cats or dogs, it must be 2 dogs, 1 cat or just the oppisite, fish and small pets and birds do not count
