Q: Does the end justify the means?
Personally, I think not.
I have to ask this, people.
In the short time I've been on this site, trying to earn points for my humane society affiliate I have enjoyed reading other peoples' posts and viewing their photos.
But I am seeing some things that are questionable in terms of fair play. I'm disappointed, to say the least.
Can't we all play by the rules and treat each other respectfully?
Personally, I would rather lose and know I gave it my best, playing fairly, than win unfairly, having sacrificed my principles. In my worldview, I would then not be a winner, but a loser, even if it was for a good cause.

I'm curious about this whole thing. I'm new to zootoo and the shelter and rescue I listed aren't in contention for winning the contest so any points I get with this answer don't matter. When I signed up, I knew nothing about the contest. Is this the first contest that has been held by zootoo? I noticed that someone had asked whether they can switch their shelter affiliation. Does that mean on the last days we will be seeing people moving their points to other shelters to move them up on the list? This contest is a dream come true for some lucky shelter, but maybe it would have been better to have multiple shelters benefit so it wouldn't be so "dog eat dog". I think this is a great site and a useful tool to share ideas, get questions answered and meet some nice people but it's pretty sad seeing so much negativity. How about using some question and answer space to give ideas to improve the next contest to eliminate the things that people feel are unfair.
