The Bulldog Club of America Rescue Network is at www.rescuebulldogs.org/rescueroster/rescueroster.pl .This webpage lists all of the states with links to Bulldog rescues in those states.

One thing you should know before you get a English Bulldog (I have 2) is that they are very high maintenance dogs healthwise. They have a plethora of special issues that you will have to deal with on a regular basis.

The 2 I have now are very healthy for bulldogs, but I still have issues with allergies (meaning special $$$ food), elongated palates (meaning surgery), entropion (meaning eye surgery) and a host of other problems. They are extremely sensitive to heat and can't swim. You will have to plan on wiping out their facial wrinkles on a daily basis, giving a medicated shampoo 1x per week and putting powder on their feet daily.
My 1rst EBD had a soooo many health problems, I spent a fortune and she died at 5 1/2 years old. I was absolutely devistated. Still I love the breed and wouldn't trade them for the world.
I don't want to dissuade you from getting a bully, I just really wanted you to know what being a bully owner entails. Feel free to send me a message with any questions about the breed that you may have. Depending on where you live I may be able to refer you to a rescue group.

Whatever route you chose please adopt from a rescue or shelter. I volunteer at a shelter and we have had a good share of bulldogs come through our doors. They never stay long. Very popular and well loved breed.

You'll have to pull up online for breeders, shelters or rescues in your area. I do know alot of rescues will not adopt out of area. Best of luck.

I do not know of any off the top of my head but you can try these: I would look at petfinder.com, look at a local rescue or shelter and make sure to tell all your friends and family what you are looking for. They might her something and get the information for you. Keep your eyes on your local newpapers too. Also you can browse for pets on Zootoo.

Try looking in animal shelters in your neighborhood or ask someone at an animal shelter if they know where you can get them! They may know someone in your neighborhood who wants to sell a dog.
