Does anyone know what breed my cat is?

I think she's a Domestic Shorthair, but she's got the oddest Calico pattern I've ever seen. I swear she has at least 8 different colors. Does anyone know what breed my cat is? (See picture)

A calico cat has sections of different colors in its fur. Usually the calicos with more white fur also have larger and more distinct patches of color. If the orange and black fur is mixed, the catcatcat is called a tortoiseshell. Tortoiseshell cats, or "torties," as they are commonly known, have little or no white fur.

I would consider your cat a tortie.

cats come in so many different colors and patterns that yea, sometimes it's really hard to figure out what to call them. my favorite are the tabbies that in some places are distinctly orange tabby but in others are distinctly brown tabby. those always give me pause when filling out paperwork at Spay Days.

i would also call your cat a tortie, though the ringtail and the tabby markings on her head are a little unusual for a tortie. she's very pretty.

I would say a tortie mix, she's beautiful!
