Q: Does anyone know of a good Boston Terrier rescue?

So since French Bulldogs are so hard to find in the rescue scene, we decided to go with a Boston Terrier. We are looking to adopt a young male, preferably crate and/or house trained. Will need the medical records proving health and vaccines in order to get his dog license. Willing to drive up to 4-5 hours to pick him up and come do a house check anytime! Please let us know! We have tons of love to give!

Although its awesome that you are looking to rescue a pup, its not easy to find one that is crate and house trained... house trained perhaps, but I wouldnt keep your hopes up on crate trained. Have you tried searching around on the internet or contacting your local pound about it?

I found this, but I didnt look too extensively into it, might be a godo place to start though :-)

Most rescues are happy to work with you. Find a big/national rescue with reps in your area. Even if the perfect dog is far away, they may be able to arrange a transport for you to meet/adopt. Most rescues are based on foster homes, and will have the pet crate/house trained and have shots UTD and spay neuter. Generally you get a dog that will be taken care of for the first year (so don't let the adoption fee drive you away, consider the savings in vet costs for the first year - and the piece of mind that you're getting a healthy dog).
