check out the web site ThePoop.Com for good recipes. I just made 3 batches of the 15 minute liver treats. I freeze them only putting a few days worth in the fridge at a time. My dogs love them & there fast & easy to make. Don't cost much either either.

4 c. unbleached white flour
1-1/2 tsp baking powder
½ c. brown sugar
2 c. whole-wheat flour
1 (½ c.) cube butter, melted (margarine if you must)
1 c. wheat germ
3 beaten eggs (better with an egg substitute)
1¾ c. skim milk (or water)
1/2 cup drainings from canned tuna (substitute chicken broth if desired)
½ t. salt
Blend liquid, butter, brown sugar, and salt. Add well beaten eggs . In a large bowl, blend flours, baking powder, and wheat germ. Add liquid mixture and mix well by hand. Add additional whole wheat flour to make a dough, which does not stick to the hand when touched. Knead dough vigorously for 2 minutes. Roll the dough out to 1/4" thickness and either bake as two large pieces or cut into one-inch squares (dogs don't care what the shape is).
Place in a preheated 400°F oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
Store in refrigerator as there are no preservatives.

Peanut Butter Dog Treats
You can make some great treats with this ingredient, because a lot of dogs just love peanut butter. Simply add 1/2 cup of peanut butter with 1.5 cups of white flour, 1.5 cups of whole wheat flour, 1 cup of water, and then two tablespoons of oil. Cut this mixture up into small easy-to-bite pieces and bake them for 20 minutes at 350 degrees F.
