Q: Does anyone have a golden retriver?

We have a golden and love her so much. She has been a great dog through the years and is so smart and calm. She is a retired therapy dog and loved children so much. They are a great breed for people who are willing to put time and love into them.

When i was growing up I had one.. He had just passed away in December.. He lived for 15 years.. He was the best dog ever.. Very quick to learn.. He loved children..

i use to have one 6 years ago poor thing died to someone puting anifreeze in his bowl one night when he was out side potting. golden retrievers are the best dogs to have and yes there very smart in deed. i trained my dog in less in a week time how to fetch, set, lay down,rollover,and bang-bang like he is playing dead lol. right before he passed away i was going to train him(already started) how to find missing people. i used my boyfriend as a missing person he would get close to him but i had to show him. i wanted him to help the police and the fbi people, find missing people and hunt people down. i was going to do it for free with no charge because i believe in finding miss people and fugitives with no charge.

My mother-law has one.He is veru sweet around kids and everyone else.Easy to train.Listen well.Very good dog for families
