We have five cats. They know everything. They are not fooled, they know who gives them everything they need and want.

I recently found out that one of my dogs loves to unwrap presents but the other just likes what she gets... I never know what they think. LOL

No. I have two very watchful hounds and they do see all and know all that goes on around their home.
They do like seeing their stockings go up and they enjoy the goodies on Christmas day.
They have the spirit of Christmas in their hearts!

My Shandi is "hip to the scene" and tolerates the waiting and gifting. I know she believes in the spirit/idea of Santa, but probably wouldn't let him in our house, uninvited. She also believes in "walkies!"

Jake, kind of, is Santa.

My nephew was three and was really into Santa. We had a pretty solid frost Christmas Eve and when Jake went out in the morning he rolled, creating a blank area. I told Corbin that the area with no snow was where the reindeer had landed. We even went out and looked for tracks. They must have flown in because there were no reindeer tracks! It was a great memory for us.

My dogs believe in rawhides and the word "Treat". If "Treat" is even whispered, they know good things are about to come and I get their undivided attention!

Santa Puppy and Santa Kitty come here once a year! And it is not the same being! I sing " Santa Puppy is coming to Town, town, town.." and the dogs get goofy. When I tell the Kitties (7) that Santa Kitty is coming to the house with a brand new catnip mouse, they just look at me, cause they know that mommy grows the best nip in town! The dogs believe, the cats just appease me!

Your title made me laugh so I had to respond. My dog tolerates Santa once a year- when we go to PetSmart for a photo. He doesn't believe the guy in the red suit is anyone special. I am his santa and like other posters stated, I am year around.

No. My pets are Muslim and therefore don't celebrate Christmas. However, they are very supportive of their friends' celebrations so I reward them with LOTS of presents anyway for being so open-minded and respectful of others' differences in religion/culture. :-)
