Lately my boyfriend's been listening to the rock station on the radio. I noticed today when I switched it back to pop, Harley didn't look nearly as happy... lol

He also freaks out when I'm watching a video of he and I and he can hear my voice on the computer.. lol

Well, I had one dog who liked weird music (the weirder the better & he really seemed to like "Turning Japanese" by the Vapors). One dog liked calmer stuff, like Pink Floyd, another seemed to like the Beatles (he would cock his head during "She Said")...Brandy loved being sung to (& the themse song from the BBC Coupling-"Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps"). Kali really hasn't shown a preference. I do have a recommendation though-if your dog freaks out during thunderstorms or fireworks, the 1st Harry Potter soundtrack really calms them down!

one of my border collies favorite thins was to herd my horses to the creek to drink. they didn't need it but being a border collie it was in his blood. he loved being in charge of the horses

my dogs don't care for music unless i'm singing to them. all of my animals have their own song {which is whatever song i can fit their name into}. some love it, some don't care either way. one of my dogs gets really excited when hearing her songs, very jumpy and prancey. her names roo so i changed the words in queens "my best friend" to say "roo, you're the best friend that i ever had..." and so on for every ooh and you. her absolute favorite though is the simple, kinda old timey, kinda creepy "roo-be-doo-be-doooo" - that one makes her spin and jump into the *play w/me* puppy stance. so cute!

My dog doesn't really seem to notice music. But if there is a show on TV with dogs barking (or any other animal noises) he will stop and watch the TV for a few minutes. It's really funny to see him following the television screen! Or if someone on TV whistles or there is a squeaky noise he will stop and look around.
