Do you use the Furmanator?

I bought a Furmonator and use it one my 3 dogs. The two little dogs love it. My big dog who shed the most hates it. He will let me comb him and brush him, but runs off when he sees me get the Furmanator.

That is strange, if he doesn't mind being groomed. I wonder if maybe you nicked an elbow or something. With Sadie I have to be very careful, I think I have been to rough for her. She runs when any of the grooming tools come out. Love the furminator.

whenever my boys seem afraid of something or don't like it i pretend to do it to myself. that usually does the trick

I've never used one. Thought about purchasing one though. My old cat was getting matted up because he doesn't groom like he used to and at his last vet appointment the doctor got out his furminator and removed them all.
