Q: Do you tip a groomer and if so how much?
I am considering getting a dog groomed. Had many dogs, but always did them myself. So I have no clue on how to handle the situation.

I would give the tip the same way I would at a salon or a restaurant. I'm sure the groomer would appreciate that!

Yes, tip your groomer. I used to groom and would live off my tips.
Calculate it how you would when you go get your hair done at a salon.

I never thought about that, I guess because we don't take our dog to be groomed. She's a bulldog so we don't trim her. We do take her to PetSmart to have her nails trimmed. Do I need to tip the employees at PetSmart?
I tip the kennel that Vixen stays at when we go on vacation and I only do that because when I use my debit card, there is an option to leave a tip. If that option wasn't available I would never even think to tip her. Now I feel bad.
