If yes, has your cat used any of the 9 lives?

I don't think Maxwell has ever been in any situations that were serious enough that I thought he would bave used 1 of his 9 lives. I have heard stories about cats, other animals, and people that did get into situations where they were lucky (for lack of a better word) they weren't killed. Cats are very agile and may escape be able to escape unharmed from physically dangerous situations that other animals may not escape from. I do believe that cats, like people and other animals have 1 continuous life and when they "die", their soul goes on and we can one day be re-united with our pets.

Obviously not literally 9 lives, but I've seen some cats make it through some amazing things! One day a cat was brought to our office with a broken leg. Upon viewing the x-ray, it was apparent that this cat's leg had been shot. Unfortunalty the owners didn't have the money to fix it surgically, so we put a cast on it and sent him home. When that cast came off, he had full mobility, and as far as we could tell, not much pain. The next year at his exam, he had some what of a funny shape to the leg, and an interesting walk, but was doing great! An extrodinary example of their ability to heal, and get on with life :)
