Q: Do you know of any natural scents that dogs can't stand, but won't affect me?

My dog keeps getting into the trash, so I had the idea of placing a scent in the bottom of my trashcan that is unpleasant to him, but that won't upset my nose, or that of my roommates.

there is a product that smells and tastes bad that people use to stop them from chewing. maybe that would work. you spray it on. i am sorry that i can't think of the name of it
