Do you dress your dog or cats up? Is it wrong to dress them up? I think they like it. Especially my Tibetian Terrier, MIRU, she loves it! But one day at the park, this guy approached me and asked, "why do you dress your dog up like that?" She was just wearing a tank top, not a costume or anything? What do you think?

I met a woman who owns a Cornish Rex cat. She lives in Massachusetts and her cat was always cold due to his thin coat. He just couldn't seem to relax and was always shivering under some blanket somewhere. Her mother decided knit him a sweater and to their amazement he loved it. Now he has an entire wardrobe of what they call "Mew's calming sweaters". They've even started an online business for custom pet sweaters with Mew as the model. Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with dressing up your pet as long as the animal is comfortable with it. I ordered sweaters for my kitties and they were very displeased. One refused to move and just tipped over like a toppled tree. The other walked around backwards until he bumped into the wall. Their heated kitty beds work best for them. Anyone want some custom kitty sweaters?!!!

As long as the outfit does not restrict their movement or is any way uncomfortable I see nothing wrong with it. I have therapy dogs and when I take them to the nursing home I dress my dogs up and it never fails to bring a smile to the peoples faces even when they're very unhappy. Check my pics.
