Q: Do tropical fish die ealier than goldfish?

Last year I got 8 tropical fish for my birthday in March and they were all dead by August! Any ideas?

If you really take care of a goldfish, they can live a very long time. The hard part about fish care is making sure your water is in good condition at all time. Tropical fish can live for many years, though, with appropriate care. They need, in addition to good water, the right temperature too.
