Do I have to be on Pet Wars?

I personally think its terrible. What right does anyone have to judge my pet. I did not even sign up for it and yet my cat Pirate has lost twice.
Well pardon her for being ugly and having one eye and a sliced ear.She was a 7 year old stray when I found her.I admit shes not much to look at on the outside. But I love her for the gentle creature she is . Beauty is on the inside.
Now you people run down my 2 legged dog too?
Is there any way I can NOT be in the Pet Wars ? Because my pets are loved by my family and I don't care what other people think of them one way or the other.
Sorry to be nasty . It just made me mad to find my one eyed cat being judged on cuteness when I did not knowing sign her up.

I personally think your cat is lovely (not ugly at all!) as is your dog I'm sure. Often photos are unable show the personality that makes the pets we love so cute. I own two Cornish Rex cats that I think are just the cutest things. I think that, even though my one guy has thinning fur on his back and my other often needs his face washed from cronic sinus problems. Many people are taken back when they first see my cats and they don't hesitate to tell me so. They are the loves of my life and every wonderful thing they do naughty or nice makes me smile. I have to admit that I have found pet wars to be an addictive game. Often,I vote for the underdogs owning several of my own. I try not to take my cat's lack of votes personally and in fact, expected it. I think an opt in and opt out button is a great idea though for those people who would rather not participate. P.S.- "Pirate"-what a neat name for a one eyed cat!

Sometimes the vote is between 2 totally adoprable animals, so the vote is made or skipped. There is no way to have a tie that I have found. Some pictures are not of good quality and the animal is hard to see. You cat is lovely and the little imperfections on the outside make Pirate unique. Don't let the opinion of others affect you. Anytime a vote is done between 2 animals, one has to win and one has to lose. That does NOT make your kitty a loser. The important part is that she is loved and vry much wanted and cared for. If there is no option to opt out, just ignore the Pet Wars.

I understand your pain. My photo of my deceased kitty, Tre, had lost a few times before I discovered that your pets are automatically enrolled in Pet Wars. It was kind of heartbreaking, because he's dead, for God's sake! He was my best friend and I miss him terribly, even thought he's been gone for over a year. But it's silly to take something like winning or losing to heart, I suppose, because I know that I loved him completely while he was here, and I will always remember him. To each his own, I suppose. I know that Tre is awesome, so that counts for me :)

Plus, your kitty is very beautiful! Try to not let it bother you about other people's opinions.

Have a great day!
