I have read a lot about the all natural way to get rid of fleas and this keeps coming up as a solution. Is it safe for cats, kittens? Does it work?

I've been looking for alternative means of flea control that is safer for my pets. I have seen some of this type of product listed as food grade. www.allisonsallnatural.com/servlet/the-449/PARA*CLEAR-Food-Grade-Diatomaceous/Detail
From what I understand from my looking about is that because it is food grade, it is much safer for your pets. I'm going to ask my vet about it. Thanks for asking this question because I hadn't seen anything on diotomacious earth in my searching. I'm going to check into it. Let me know if you try it how it works, and vice versa.

Yes, it does work but, like most organics takes a bit to get going. I dust my yard and found out just recently it is safe for pets if you get the food grade. You can put it in their food! You can put it in your food! I read it was a natural wormer among other things.
