Q: Chubby Kitty

One of my cats has put on a fair bit of weight lately, and exercise isn't really seeming to help. Can anyone recommend a good diet food that will help get my girl back to a healthy weight?

check with your vet for food recommendations for your cat, every cat is different. Also, make sure to take your cat in for weight and measurement recording so you can see how well her diet works.
you can also invest in treat balls that you can feed her with. She would have to play with the ball to get the food out, so it forces her to become active.

My one cat is like that too. She's very lazy though. I recommend switching to canned food vs just dry food. Try a brand like Wellness or Innova. Probably a grain free variety would be best. Alot of commercial cat foods have too much carbs in them and I've found out that cats actually can not process carbs correctly and it can make them over weight. All of my other 8 cats are at ideal weight other then the one, so sometimes cats can just be fat regardless of trying to exercise them and feed them right.
