Q: Cat litter

is there a company that gives out free litter ? i'am unmployed i have two cats one is special needs she has one kidney and well their food is i can put their food on account at the vets but their litter i cannot i have no litter in their box and already one cat used the floor

Not that I know of. Lots of local food banks will carry pet products. Contact the social service organizations, private & public, in your area & see if the can either help or direct you to a group who can. Also, you can save on kitty litter if you have a feed store or the equivalent near you. You can buy a 50# bag of Layer Crumbles or non-medicated chick starter for about $7 to $10. The ingredients of Layer Crumbles & chick starter are basically the same as The World's Best Cat Litter & you can fill a lot of litter boxes for $10! They both clump for easy scooping. Purina's version of chick starter is called Start & Grow. Good luck!
