Q: Cat Furniture

Jan H.

I'm looking to buy a piece of cat furniture for two large (not fat) cats. Furniture I saw at local pet stores seemed too small. I'm currently considering Drs Foster & Smith Amusement Park or Mega Spiral Penthouse. Our home is small with not much space than can be dedicated as cat-only, so I want to make sure I purchase the right furniture. I'd appreciate any thoughts on the two items I'm considering and any suggestions of other items.

Thanks

My cat has three cat beds and a cat condo, but she sleeps on my couch!

We just have a small three tier one for my three cats, and they love it. I would suggest ordering one from Foster and Smith becuase from what I have seen most pet stores don't carry large ones. Plus, theirs just look so cool. I wanted to get one, but they are kinda pricey (the ones I remember, at least), and they take up a decent amount of room.
Or, if you are able to, you could always try making your own. My dad used to do the in the past. He used 2x4s and old carpet that he got from different places. That is basically what they are.
