Actually, I found an awesome herbal product called "Rescue Remedy". It's just a little bottle with a dropper, it's 100% natural, and it zonks my cats right out. Not too long ago I threw everything I owned into my car and moved 2,000 miles up North, and I gotta say, I'd have gone crazy if I hadn't given them the stuff. Works on people too, I found it makes me feel similar to having sleepytime tea. Just a little calmer and drowsier, not "omg I go sleep now bye bye".

The Feliway spray is probably the best thing I've ever used for transporting animals. It can be found in most large petstores, however, it tends to be pretty pricey. Although, I would say it's well worth the money, another option that is natural is chamomile tea. Chamomile is a natural relaxant for dogs and cats and I have used it for years. I get the Celestial Seasonings brand called Sleepy Time Tea that you can buy at any grocery store. Brew it strong, cool it and give it to her about 30 to 45 minutes before your trip. You can give it to her straight, pour it over her food or do something else to intice her if she is funny about new things. I know one lady that used to give it in tomato soup because it completely covered the smell! Hope these ideas help.
