Siamese & Manx are known to be among the longest-lived cat breeds. The oldest verified cat of record was a Burmese. A tabby, not a purebred, supposedly lived into his mid-30s back in the1930s or 1940s. Barring serious illness or accident, almost any cat has a chance of living to 15 - 20 years or even more when given proper nutrition, care, regular vet check ups, & if kept indoors.
