My friend's dog, had an allergic breakout over the weekend, and now her nose is chaffed from all of the rubbing and scratching. What can we put on her nose to help it heal?

Vaseline will not hurt a dof (or human) if ingested but the dog will probably lick it off immediately. The nose should heal from the dog licking it.

sure you can put it on his nose. I bet he licks it off.

I would absolutely have no problem with vaseline on my dog's nose (as long as it's not excessive). In fact, it is one of the home remedies to give cats to help with hairball problems so it is not toxic.
