Hello! I am a professional phtographer from a suburb of Chicago, IL. I have a week all to my self starting on June 8th, yeah! I'd like to go on a sort of photo expedition during that week. I am a big Nature person as well as an animal lady. MY entire trip doesn't have to be all about taking pictures, but I don't want to stay in somewhere boring! Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can go? I will be camping in a tent (to save lots of lodging money) and am looking to travel no more than 6-7 hours (unless it's a really cool place and worth staying for a few days.) Any help would be appreciated!

Forks, Washington is really beautiful. Also Hunterdon County New Jersey. We have lots of animals in NJ and alot of "nature".

I've always enjoyed the nature and wildlife in Northern WI (Eagle River, Minocqua, etc.). Not too far from Chgo. (I'm originally from Chgo.), plenty to see and do. Yes, Door County is lovely, too.

If coming out west, Northern CA is gorgeous, as is the Kitsap peninsula in WA. Actually, it is super tough to pinpoint just one place. Enjoy your adventure!!

Anywere in Missouri is very beatiful, especially along the rivers. The caves are great and you would have no probems finding a cheap camping ground! Right now Purple Martins are in our area! They are endangered birds! The Spring Peepers are also out making lovely but loud nosies! Hope you choose Missouri!
