Q: Can i let the male dog around the female dog while she has the puppies?

Yes as long as they get along with other dogs. But if they are not spayed and nuetered then you should not until they are.

You female will get protective and get spooked and will do EVERYTHING to protect her puppies including eat them. She may also just get so stressed she will quit caring for them.

Keep your male elsewhere until the puppies are weaned.

i have seen some males that love puppies and i have seen some that do not like them and some that are jealous. if you try letting them together please watch and be careful.
