you know that mealworms and waxworms are insect dont say there not so as cockroach too will they eat it?

No you should be feeding your zebra finch a good healthy diet of bird seed with no corn in it and every now and then the bird treats that pet stores sell. But for best advice on zootoo ask a bird expert Daryl B.

I've never heard of feeding birds cockroaches. Though they are high in protein, I would think there's a good reason behind not doing it. Stick with the meal worms and wax worms and add some veggies and fruits if you haven't already.
