Q: Can hamsters get tumors?

My 2 and a half year old hamster has gotten very fat over the last 3 months. i think it might be a tumor because when you touch his belly it is hard. he cant even fit up his tube anymore! Im not even sure he is running that much. Please post any comment that is helpful to this problem asap!

Yes, they can. I had a hamster that had a tumor on the side of his face. At first I thought his pouch was full but looking closer it was a tumor. He was a senior hamster and needed to be put to sleep by a vet. Yours should definitely have a vet visit.
