Any cat breed with the same scientific Family, Genus, and Species can breed, so the short answer is "yes". That being said, people that try to create new breeds only end up adding to the shelter population because they either give up with the project and have a bunch of non-purebred kittens around or they try to get the registries to establish their breed by placing breeding cats with whoever will take them, which again ultimately leads to more cats on the street or in shelters. It seems every year someone one else who has no knowledge of genetics and breeding practices is attempting to create a "new" breed of spotted cat. There are enough cats in the world without every Jim Bob and John Boy out there trying to make something different. Ultimately, if not spayed and neutered, they all inner breed and end up being DSHs, DMHs, and DLHs and end up in shelters themselves or causing the deaths of those who are because some yahoo can't make the connection between breeding and deaths of those already here.

I don't know but he shouldn't breed any cats there are too many unwanted cats and kittens in the world as it is same with dogs and puppies I would tell him not to even try breeding cats cause it is not a good thing if he wants a kitten he can adopt one and alot of the time you can find some kittens and cats that have really uniqe appearances such as my cat Teddy had hearts on the bottom of her back feet but if you look hard enough you could find one that looks like that probably.
