Q: Can cats and dogs get car sick?

if so when they do can they throw up because I think I have seen it happen some where before.

as has been stated, yes, they can get car sick / motion sick. it's a good idea to try to get them used to cars gradually, to kind of train them out of the motion sickness if you will. but if you've got to take your pet somewhere by car very soon, don't have time in the mean time to work with them, and are looking for a safe quick fix, i recommend ginger.

Yes they can. I have had a dog that did. Don't feed your dog for at least 2 hours before traveling. Always use a crate. If it's a long trip I would recommend talking to your vet about possible medications to help.

I know dogs can get car sick, I have 2 dogs to prove it. They can go up to about a 25 mile ride then the barfing begins. there are meds for it but I never tried it, I just dont take them far at all
