Q: Can anyone in Tampa Bay area recommend a good AFFORDABLE vet?

I need to take my cat to the vet. I have little or no extra money but have to take her. Suggestions in tampa bay area??

Sometimes, if you talk with a Vetrinarian about your financial position, they will listen, and possibly give you a discount on their services, including medications, vaccinations, office visits, etc. I am living on a fixed income and disabled. I talked with my Vetrinarian, and explained my financial position, and she gives me a discount. All are different, but it is worth a try.

Yes, your local SPCA has a clinic and they are VERY reasonable. Explain your circumstance and they'll help you out - they're very good.

I don't live there but if it is the same there that it is here in Longview, WA the humane socitey and rescue centers will help people feed and take care of their pets. Even paying for vetranairy care sometimes.
