Q: Can a 5-lined skink recover from a back injury?
I have a 2 inch long baby 5-lined skink that has somehow been injured what looks like just above its back legs and now is dragging them around.

possibly w/a steroids shot, but you'll have to find a wildlife rehabilitation center around you. if you have trouble locating one, call your vet or a local shelter and they may have a number.
