Q: bird shaking head

I would check to see if she has mites. This will make them shake their head because it might be itching her or bothering her. You can ask a pet store or a vet on how to check for these and what can be used for it.

mine do it on occasion but it is usually when they have a feather tickling there ear which is impossible to see. sometimes they also look like they are yawning for the same reaso. but feather or not i believe it has something to do with their ears. if you believe it is a problem please by all means take the bird to a avian vet just to be sure nothing is wrong

It would help to know how long you have had your bird and whether this is a sudden change in behavior (as well as how long and how often she shakes her head). A sudden change in behavior could indicate a medical problem.
I don't think you are providing enough information for anyone to be able to accurately respond.

This is normal behavior for cockatiels. You will probably notice her doing it more when you're talking to her, or if she is preening your hair. Nothing to worry about.
