Q: Bird rescue?

I want to find a bird rescue for when I do get my parrot so that I can rescue one of course I plan on doing some strict training before I get one so that I will be ready when I can get one so where?

I don't know much about bird rescues but I usually have something on my list from my networking. Here's what I have:
Pacific Parrot Placement in Gig Harbor
Pampered Parrots Avian Rescue in Airway Heights

I also have a contact for Mollywood in Bellingham, but I have them listed as a sanctuary so I doubt they adopt out any of their birds.

oh that is wonderful i have always thought a cockatiel was a great first bird. not to big not to loud and when they do bite it is not going to be too big of an ouch. i wish i knew of one but good luck. birds rule
