Q: Best treats for diabetic dog

My Abby is 14-1/2 and has developed some tumors on her back legs. We planned to biopsy to determine if there are mast cells, but bloodwork revealed that she has now developed diabetes. We are having no problems with the insulin injections, change in food and schedule. We are trying to find some treats that she can have. We have three other rescues and they all expect treats when they come in from the outside, take meds, tolerate nail trims - you get the picture - they expect treats OFTEN. Abby needs some diet restrictive treats - quick. Thanks
