Best Free Cat Toy
My cat's absolutely favorite toy is the plastic ring from a bottle of water or milk. She can entertain herself for hours with them.
Does anyone have a similar "free toy" experience? Doesn't have to be just for a cat.

My cats love paper towel & toilet paper rollers, cardboard boxes, grocery sacks, leaves that my husband or the dog track in, the drawstring from my sweatpants, wadded up paper, & one of them can spend all day long chasing our shadows around on the floor! Our dog loves to play with sticks & grass runners.

When we had our cats they loved to play with our dogs tail.if he walked by wagging his tail, they woiuld both go on attack mode and bat at it, if the other got in the way they would attack each other. then start a whole new game....

those are the best free toy ever! Luna loves curling ribbon...but if she finds it she'll play with and eat it!! which is not good

Yep! Milk jug rings, plastic bottle lids, paper bags, a ping pong ball in an empty bathtub, paper wads, a plastic cup from Super America with a straw sticking out of the top, a little cardboard Ronald McDonald House to save pop tabs in, any kind of box, shoe box, pop box, beer box, duffle bag, empty fish aquarium, aquarium filled with fish, my hair, husbands toes, toilet paper, pens and pencils laying on coffe table. Tweak will be on floor, and reach up and pull anything light right off the coffe table! I could go on, and on!!! LOL!

My ponytail holders. He will bat them around for hours throwing them in the air and smacking them. I have to buy new ones a couple times a month as he is forever loosing them.

My orange tabby loves plastic bottle caps from 20 oz. bottles/2 liters. He will steal them the second they are set down. Also, it's fun to fill an empty toilet paper roll with some smelly cat treats and then fold up the ends and watch kitty try and get all the treats out.

Cardboard boxes and paper grocery bags. Old sock tied in a knot, or old sock with something stuffed into the toe and a knot tied above it.

Both of my kitties love milk jug rings, too! They also like to get into laundry baskets. They like to take the toilet paper off the roll. They love to play with strings or ribbons, especially if they are on the other side of the door and the ribbon appears under the door! We crumple up the red Netflix envelope sheet that you tear off, and they compete for throwing and fetching them back. They show off by getting them "stuck" under something, then miraculously pull it out again. Our boy cat Fluffers likes to play soccer by himself; but Princess likes to chase the balls, but rarely brings them back.
