Australian Shepherd or not???

I just wanted to know what u people know, about this puppy she is supposed to be an Australian Shepherd, But to be honest i have never seen an Aussie puppie of this color. And we did see mom she was a pure breed and saw dad from far away He was working and looked to be pure too. Hope some one has seen or have an Aussie similar to her.

Thanks.........

(Her name is Ruby, she is only 8 weeks)

THANKS TO ALL U 3 THAT ANSWERED MY QUESTION, I DO BELIVE SHE IS A PURE AUSSIE, AND I WE ALL LOVE HER THAT IT DOESN'T MATTER IF SHE WASN'T A PURE AUSSIE OR NOT. I WAS JUST CURIOUS BECAUSE I HAVE NOT SEEN A LIGHT COLOR LIKE HERS BUT NOW I KNOW THEY DO COME IN THAT COLOR. AND THERE IS A PUPPY IN THE AUSTRALIAN SHEPHER GROUP THAT LOOKS LIKE HER. aND JUST TO LET U KNOW, WE PAY 75DLS FOR HER. HER PARENTS OWNERS DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO CARE FOR ANOTHER DOG, SO THEY DID DECIDED TO LET HER GO, AND FOR THE SAME REASON SHE DIDN'T GOT HER TAIL DOCK.

THANKS ...

she is probably an aussie. though uncommon, they do come in yellow...and i think they look gorgeous in it. aussies color can also change as they age, getting darker or bringing in a ticked coat.
here's a link to more yellow aussies: www.ashgi.org/color/yellow_aussies.htm

All purebred aussies i have ever seen have had docked tails. We grew up with them as pets and never had one with a tail. I always thought they were born without tails but just recentely found out they are docked.
That looks like a mix of aussie and somethign else. But pure bred doesnt matter I bet she is a great pup and she is adorable!

i do believe that ruby is probably a pure bred. they do come in several different collores. such as blue and red merle. she is a beautiful pup. and unless you paid for a pure bred she is just wonderful. if you did pay for a pure bred and have doubts and can afford it you can have dna testing done. then if you decide to maybe you can get some money back if it turns out she is not pure. but i bt you love her too much to give her back at this point.
