Candy, including gummies, as an occasional treat won't hurt him, but too much can cause upset stomach, vomiting, and/or diarrhea. It can also have long-term effects if he eats it too often. Also, some gummies contain xylitol, which is deadly to dogs, so read the ingredients carefully. Even little bits of candy given over a long period of time can lead to obesity or even Type II Diabetes, so it's best not to make a habit of letting him have it. Gummies are sticky and can stick in his teeth causing tooth decay and cavities. The basic rule of thumb is that if it's considered bad for or unhealthy for people, it's not good for your pet either, so keep the sugary people treats to a bare minimum.

All I know is that I fed Skitters candycanes when she was around and after I had to put her down I found out that stuff with mint is bad for dogs and plus all junk food is bad it is bad for people and bad for animals too it is okay every now and then depending on what it is also choclate is piosonus to animals don't give him choclate but that is all I know!
