Q: anything good to kill flies..

i try to keep my back yard as clean as possible specially from flies but they just seem to love my dog cant get them off him..wat can i do

If his ears are chewed, there is a paste you can get to dab on them. It will heal them up and protect from flies. You can get the fly traps or sticky tape as suggested, or you can try Fly Predators. There are several products on the market under different names. The are tiny little flying insects that lay their eggs in fly pupae. This cust down dramatically on the fly population and the predators are not a bother at all. I'm using them this year and they're wonderful. I just put out a fresh batch today.
They are mail order and shipped to your house. They are usually ready to spread in a few days of arrival.
Google 'fly predators' and see what you get. They are most often advertised for horse people.

fly strips? we have the same problem right now so i was gonna go out and grab some. place them strategically so you can't see them, but still clear the air. our problem is the trash. daily litter scooping really attracts the little suckers. try to identify the source that attracts them. i can't do much about the litter scoopings, but maybe your problem has a solution.
