Q: Anybody watch Oprah on Friday?

Bonnie M.

It was at the end of the show on Friday, but Oprah had rescued Yorkshire terriers from a puppy mill in Missouri. Broke my heart to see what they came out of , but at the same time was so happy they were out of those horrid conditions. Ninety dogs, all in rehab now, but soon up for adoption. Hooray for Oprah shedding a national spotlight on this atrocity, again.

no sorry, I can't watch those puppy mill shows. I don't have the stomache for it.

I'm glad she showed what is happening out there, BUT, Oprah needs to put her money where her mouth is and help fund rescue operations and shelters, not just show them on her show. SHE made money by showing you all those poor dogs! Now she needs to help them.

I agree! This was a fabulous episode, and it really shed light on a big issue! I've never bought dogs from a store and I've tried to tell my friends why it's so bad, and so it was helpful to have Oprah do that show because it was a real eye opener for a lot of people I know. =D!
